You may request dismissal of your traffic ticket by paying the DSC fee and taking a Driving Safety Course, however, the Court must approve your request prior to your taking the course.
Driver Safety Courses must be approved by the Texas Education Agency.

Yes. You can only take the course once a year, if you are taking it because of a ticket. You will have to pay a DSC fee the day you apply.
