Students NEED to complete our course within 30 calender days of registering.

# of Quizzes: 12 - 4 questions per quiz at least 75% or better

# of Questions on Final: 25 questions - 80% or better

Cert Sent: Point Reduction: gets submitted directly to the DMV within 30 days of participation of the course. Student is mailed certificate to submit for insurance purposes

Reason to Take Course: Point Reduction and a mandatory 10% insurance reduction. (good for three years) Even if the student does not have points on his/her license they can still get an insurance reduction (called defensive driving, or PIRP, as in Point and Insurance Reduction Program)

# of Points Reduced: Up to 4 points within an 18 month period

Insurance reduction: can take the course once every 36 months to get 10% reduction

Students have 3 months to complete the course. If not completed within this time frame their license will be suspended. The suspension will be lifted once they graduate the course and the BMV gets confirmation.
